Festivals and community get-togethers help define the unique charm of Carthage. The Maple Leaf Festival shows off Mother Nature's beautiful and multi-colored display of glorious fall colors. It includes one of the area's largest parades, a band contest, arts and crafts festival, car show, baby contest, queen contest and a host of other activities.The Midwest Gathering of the Artists, an invitational show of fine art that features artists from across the nation, is held each September and offers an auction where patrons may bid on exhibited works.

Coming from the north on Highway 71, exit onto Highway 96 and turn east to Garrison. Turn South on Garrison to Fairview (Pizza Hut on the corner). Turn east on Fairview to Buena Vista (You'll see our sign there). Turn north to the entry of The Villages at Rollin's Creek.
From South 71, take the HH Highway exit (Precious Moments) and turn east at the exit. Go to Garrison (aka as Fairlawn) and turn North (Walmart on the corner). Follow Garrison to Fairview and turn east. Go east to Buena Vista (You'll see our sign). Turn north on Buena Vista to the entry of the Villages at Rollin's Creek. |
